-The sketch was found washed ashore in an oilskin pouch with minimal water damage. The ancient looking sepia tones and musty smell were hint enough at its long voyage. How long ago had this picture been sent out to sea? The hand that had drawn it was untrained but talented, and the woman herself had been sketched in with care. A lover perhaps? But her expression was so dour...
The signature beneath was faded and blurry, but was at last recognizable to a scrupulous eye as "L. Noin". Had the long gone war veteran left this intentionally, or had it been lost? And why a self portrait with such an unflattering expression? Of course, the tales they tell now a days of the Eve Wars are undoubtably skewed... but NOTHING is known of what the historical figure did after her years with the Preventers. No one knows if her story was happy, or not. Perhaps this is a clue...-
