Aule colors look great on Sauron, let him be colorful! He's got ages of being a dark lord ahead of him, where his fashion choice will be pretty limited.

I love the movie designs as well (John Howe did a lot of the concept art for the LotR movies and his work is astounding).
The colors on the Forge Master outfit aren't too much, I don't think. I like it.
It does not matter what he's wearing, the first thing I see regardless is those eyes.
He's so manly and ar the same time so well dressed, will be staring forever at those outfits and at his hair and at the angles of his jaw, I just don't know what to say, I think I'll have to tear some old pictures from the wall and make a shrine for your and Ash's pictures of Sauron and Melkor, I am seriously considering that XDDD
The details are just fantastic and the whole blacsmith's fancy apron is just unff, with those tools sticking out of the pocket and that belt with that careful knot, so awesome <333 I am in love with that apron. Also the colors are great! And I also imagine the Numenorian outfit/Sauron himself version rather ashen, I mean he wouldn't want to outshine his majesty 'Ar-Pharazon the Golden, the King of Overblown Ego' would he now XDDDD Now that we decided to split that Sauron chapter from the fic into two parts, I think there will be room for more attention to such detail in the Numenor part of the story X3 The very idea Sauron was a high priest is so precious and monumental and epic. ust what is he doing with that hammer in Numenor? XDDDD Killing Elf-friends brought to the altar by bashing their skulls in or using altar as an anvil every now and then? XDDD
And woah, I love the fact he has eyeliner, nice touch, makes it look egyptian and Ar-Pharazon always sounds like pharao to me so yeah, Numenor always makes me think of Egypt a little XDDDD
